Astral is a luxurious midweight Italian sateen suiting coming in a pearlescent cream colourway. In its natural state, it is unbleached and raw, taken directly from the loom.  Beautifully tactile, it has a subtle wave-like jacquard throughout. Its soft sateen finish makes for a natural glow as it effortlessly catches the light. A truly opulent fabric,this wool holds great structure and is an ideal fabric for tailored pleats and pin tucks. While structured, it also falls gracefully. Asti would be the perfect structured dress, pleated plant and blazer, or form-fitting bodice.

This family-run 150-year-old mill specialises in opulent fabrics, making for some of the best European designers. The Biella region is essential to the mills, as they use the natural water that runs off the Swiss Alps to wash and finish their fabric. Staying true to quality all their wool is sourced exclusively from Australia & New Zealand.
